In the afternoon of our second day visiting Oceanside, Fuji Officials visited the Library and the Oceanside Museum of Art. Beautiful design of the library building was fascinating and we were surprised to see the system that allows tourists to rent books.
During our Museum of Art visit, we learned that the museum actively exhibits works of local artists and renews its design periodically to attract both tourists and local residents.
Fuji also looks into attracting tourists with its world-class commercial paper industry which extends its value into cultural activity.
An annual Art Festival of Paper will be held at Fuji Museum Village starting from October 21, hosting artists performances and workshops.
