Oceanside CA- A visible sunrise has been a rare sight along the Southern California coast this summer. Residents relying on an electric alarm clock to wake them, before the sunrise, were out of luck. A power outage occurred at 5:16am . Power was briefly restored at 7:00am then out again 10 minutes later. The outage affected approximately 2,000 SDG&E customers and the traffic lights in the Mission Rd and El Camino Real area of Oceanside. SDG&E had power restored, again at 8:16am.
