Oceanside CA – In Thursdays meeting of the Oceanside City Council, Council member, Esther Sanchez, proposed a ban on the sale of dogs in pet shops within the city limits. The motion failed 3-2,Woods voting with Sanchez to approve. Kern, Feller and Felien against.
Recommendations for speed limit changes by the Development Services Department-Transportation Division were approved 5-0. The changes effect the following roads;

An additional stop sign was approved for the intersection of Hunsaker St. and Grandview St. to make it an all-way stop. A neighborhood group asking to have a portion of the double-yellow center-line on Panorama Ridge Road, between the private portion of Panorama Ridge Rd and Northerly St, because they thought it encouraged speeding, received approval 5-0.
