Oceanside CA- Oceanside Police received a call at 6:57 this morning for a pedestrian getting hit by a car. An 81-year old woman died at the scene after being struck on Sunningdale Drive in North-East Oceanside according to a police dispatch spokesperson. The driver was co-operating with police but no further details were being released about the driver. The victim’s name is being withheld by the San Diego County Coroner.
