Oceanside CA – (OPD) Oceanside Police Department’s Traffic Services Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in the investigation of a fatal traffic collision which occurred at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, in the 4000 block of Oceanside Blvd. The collision involved a black, 1994 Acura Integra which was traveling eastbound and struck a palm tree in the center median, splitting the vehicle in half and causing fatal injuries to the passenger.
Considering the amount of vehicular traffic typically found on Oceanside Blvd. at this time of day, our Accident Investigators believe a significant number of motorist should have witnessed the accident. We are especially interested in speaking to anyone who either saw the vehicle driving prior to the accident (even if you did not witness the actual collision), or the events leading up to the accident.
