Oceanside CA- Oceanside Police are investigating the discovery of a body on a bike trail in downtown, Friday evening, shortly after 6:30PM. The man was found by two people who then tried to render aid to the victim. Police and fire personnel responded to the 300 block of Neptune Way where medics continued the resuscitation efforts. The efforts were unsuccessful, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. An air unit from the San Diego County Sheriffs office assisted operations at the scene and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Oceanside Police.
