Oceanside CA- In a presentation at the Oceanside Elks Lodge the Elks National Foundation bestowed honors on Edward T. Novak for reaching the Honorary Founder level for substantial donations to the Foundation. “This is a tremendous achievement and the Oceanside Elks are incredibly proud to have Mr. Novak as a member.” said Oceanside Elks President Dan Bourke. The Elks National Foundation’s mission is to help Elks build stronger communities.
Since inception, the ENF has contributed more than $384.1 million toward Elks’ charitable projects nationwide. These funds enable programs that support youth, honor veterans, and meet needs in areas where Elks live and work. Our programs continue to grow each year, allowing Elks to do even more to build stronger communities. This past fiscal year the Elks National Foundation approved appropriations and distribution totaling a record $26 Million, an increase of 10% over the previous year. An additional $2.44 million in collage scholarships were awarded, as well as nearly $1.4 million for the Elks Drug Awareness Program and National Hoop Shoot Free Throw program.
