Oceanside CA-The Oceanside Public Library will hold a workshop to help homeowners in distress avoid foreclosure and another to help people navigate the Affordable Care Act application process.

Free Community Event for Homeowners in Distress

On Saturday, February 15 at 10:30 a.m., the Oceanside Public Library will host a free community event for homeowners who are at risk of losing their homes to foreclosure. Representatives from S2 Negotiations will be on hand to educate and empower homeowners with information about options regarding mortgage and foreclosure avoidance.
S2 Negotiation is a division of TSS Reality Group, and their representatives are licensed real estate agents and certified homeowner advocates. This workshop will show homeowners that they have many options available to help. With the start of the new year, set a goal to increase financial stability and explore options. You will learn about government and bank programs put in place to help, and will learn about scams to avoid. Healthcare Application Assistance

Need help applying for Affordable Health Care before March 1? Join North County Health Services and the Oceanside Public Library for free application assistance. Volunteers will be on hand to guide you through the application process on Thursday, February 20 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Mission Branch Library, and Wednesday February 26 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Library. Volunteers will be able to assist in both English and in Spanish.
