Oceanside CA- Reyes Edric Gutierrez, 21 year old male resident of Oceanside was identified by the San Diego County Coroners office as the person killed on I-5, February 22. Gutierrez was walking south on the shoulder of north-bound I-5, south of J-Street in Chula Vista, when he was struck by a Honda Civic at approximately 1:20 a.m. The driver of the Civic stopped and reported hitting the pedestrian. Emergency personnel arrived and confirmed the death without intervention.
