Oceanside CA- On April 11, 2014 at 12:13 a.m. Oceanside police officers were dispatched to the scene of a single vehicle roll over traffic collision on College Boulevard between Old Grove and Avenida de la Plata. Officers arrived to find the driver deceased at the scene.





The preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle, a 2013 Toyota, was southbound on College at a high rate of speed. At the intersection of College and Old Grove, the vehicle went into the northbound lanes of College and left the roadway, striking a tree and ejecting the driver.
College Boulevard was closed in both directions for an extended period of time. Northbound lanes are closed at this time, but are expected to open soon.
Identification of the driver is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
