Gubernatorial Primary Election Today

Oceanside CA– The Gubernatorial Primary Election is today and if you are not sure where to vote, there are several ways to find your polling place.
Polling locations are listed on the back of the Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet sent to your home or you can use the polling place locator online. Type in your address and click submit to find your neighborhood polling place. You can also view your sample ballot online.
If you typically vote by mail but haven’t sent it off, you will need to drop off your mail ballot at a polling place or the Registrar of Voters office. A postmark by Election Day alone is not acceptable – the ballots must be in hand before the polls close.
The vote-by-mail ballot can be dropped off at any one of 1,403 polling places in the County of San Diego.
You can also take the mail ballot and vote in person at the Registrar’s new office. It moved to 5600 Overland Ave., San Diego, 92123. Voters can cast ballots between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
“So far, we have received 219,875 out of 858,397 mail ballots that were sent to voters. They’re being sorted and scanned now so they’ll be ready to count right when the polls close at 8 p.m. on Election Night Tuesday.” said Registrar of Voters Michael Vu.
For voters who need language assistance, election materials are also available in Spanish, Filipino, Vietnamese and Chinese. To learn more about voting in the June 3 election, call (858) 565-5800 or visit sdvote.com.
