Oceanside CA– MiraCosta College’s fall semester begins Monday, August 18, when more than 14,000 students will begin taking credit classes at the college’s three locations. This fall, MiraCosta College is offering nearly 300 online courses—more than ever before. In addition, there will be more than 75 Friday and Saturday classes, which will provide more options for students, especially those with busy work schedules or other commitments.
Returning this fall:
CHNS 101, Mandarin Chinese: Due to popular demand, MiraCosta College has brought back this course for fall. Class will meet two days per week, and students will have the choice of either a late morning class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 11 a.m. to 1:20 p.m., or an early evening one on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 4:30 to 6:50 p.m.

MiraCosta College serves coastal North San Diego County, with a district spanning from Camp Pendleton in the north to Carmel Valley in the south. The college serves more than 14,000 credit students each semester, including 1,900 active-duty military and veteran students, plus another 1,000 military dependents.
