San Diego CA– San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Alpine Station are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown suspect wanted in connection with the theft of seven brass grave markers from the Alpine Cemetery, located 2495 Victoria Drive in Alpine.
Sometime during April 4-5, 2013, three unknown suspects entered the Alpine Cemetery and stole seven brass plaques that marked the graves of military veterans. The total loss was valued at about $3,500. Investigators were able to identify and arrest two of the three suspects but need the public’s help to identify the third. The unidentified suspect is pictured above.
