San Marcos CA– A drive-by shooting occurred on Wednesday evening, June 25th, at approximately 6:19. Two male victims were shot near the intersection of W. Mission Road & Pico Avenue, in the City of San Marcos.
One victim suffered a single small caliber gunshot wound to the chest and is in stable condition. The other victim sustained several small caliber gunshot wounds to the chest, and is currently in critical condition.
Both victims were transported and admitted to area hospitals. According to witnesses, the suspects involved in the drive-by shooting were described as Hispanic males. This incident is believed to be gang related.
