San Diego County CA– If you have been a victim of a car burglary recently, detectives from the Santee Sheriff’s Station would like to hear from you. Above is a photo of stolen items in a string of car burglaries. If any of these items belong to you, call the Santee Sheriff’s Station at (619) 956-4000.
The items were recovered following the arrest of two people Thursday in connection with a month-long vehicle burglary series targeting cars parked at golf courses all over the county. Witnesses often describe seeing a red car at the time of the burglaries.
Santee Detectives identified Brianna Grossi, age 20 and Joshua Miller, age 33, as the suspects. They were stopped and arrested while in a red Honda near Santos Road, in San Diego, on July 17th, at around 6:00 p.m. Property stolen from three vehicle burglaries they had just committed was recovered in their vehicle.
Two search warrants were later served at residences in the Santee Sheriff’s command area and more stolen property was recovered. Both suspects now face charges of conspiracy, committing a felony while out on bail, and approximately 20 counts of vehicle burglary. Several other cases are under investigation. The owners of most of the recovered property have been notified.
