Vista CA– Alexander Michael Wyman had been identified as a person of interest in a July 4th homicide, in Vista, and was wanted for questioning. Wyman was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department on July 11 at 9:20 p.m. San Diego Sheriff’s Homicide and Fugitive Task Force Detectives took custody of Wyman on July 12 and booked him into the Vista Detention Facility on a charge of murder.
On July 4, 2014, at about 3:40 p.m., deputies responded to 3625 Gopher Canyon Road in unincorporated Vista to assist the fire department with a man down. When they arrived they found Robert Evasick on the ground with traumatic injuries. Paramedics attempted to revive him, but they were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
