Oceanside CA- The newly remodeled Mission Branch Library will be expanding its hours beginning in October. Another hour is being added on Wednesday nights and 5 more hours on Saturday.
The new Mission Branch schedule will be Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday, 12 noon – 5 p.m.; and Sunday 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Upcoming events at the Mission Branch Library:

• Baby Storytime – Children from birth to 24-months accompanied by a caregiver enjoy books, songs, and movement activities. 8/20/2014, Time: 10:30 a.m.
• Tween Video Games – Tweens, visit the library for video games and fun for ages 8-12. 8/21/2014, Time: 4:00 p.m.
• Preschool Storytime – thirty minutes designed to inspire your child as they explore the wonderful world of books and develop early literacy, motor and social skills. Children will delight in listening to stories, singing songs, and participating in finger plays. A creative craft or free play completes the storytimes. • Sunday Art Class at the Library – Want to learn how to draw and paint? Join the Sunday Art Class with local artist Todd Gomes Aviv. This free class helps children and teens improve their artistic talent and develop their skills. For grades K-12. 08/24/2014, Time: 2:00 p.m.
