Oceanside CA– Noise levels may increase in the area, as Camp Pendleton units will be firing high explosive munitions and mortars during training exercises beginning at 6 a.m. everyday concluding Friday, August 8th. Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.
