Oceanside CA– On Wednesday, September 3, 2014, Oceanside Police officers responded to a stabbing in the area of Coast Highway and Pier View Way. The investigation led the officers to the Firewater Saloon at 406 Pier View Way.
One of the bouncers from the business had been stabbed in his side. The victim, a 40-year-old Vista resident, said he was jumped by two black male adults with no provocation. Both suspects are described as being in their early twenties.
The victim was flown to Scripps in La Jolla, but his wounds are believed to be non-life threatening. Officers spoke with several witnesses and are following up on potential leads.
