Oceanside CA– The U.S. Constitution was signed September 17, 1787, and to commemorate this important day in our country’s history, the MiraCosta College Associated Student Government will welcome college board of trustees members, Interim Superintendent/President Dick Robertson and special guest California Assemblyman Rocky Chavez for a meet and greet celebration. The event will be held this Wednesday, September 17, 7–8 p.m. in the Community Room at the college’s Community Learning Center, located at 1831 Mission Avenue in Oceanside.
Students and attendees will have the opportunity to test themselves on the 100 questions asked of all citizenship applicants, and those who can answer three correctly will receive a prize.
Cake and light refreshments will be served.
