Oceanside CA– Today, October 27, 2014, at 7:37 a.m. Oceanside Police dispatchers received a phone call regarding a possible dead body found in the vicinity of Crouch and Oceanside Boulevard. Officers responded to the location and found a body in the brush alongside the Loma Alta Creek about 100 yards west of the Sprinter station.
Investigators from the Crimes of Violence Unit responded, which is protocol in a case like this. The body was in an advanced state of decay and appeared to have been in this location for an extended period of time. There was no identification found on the body. There was no indication of foul play. The Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the location and took possession of the body.
