Oceanside CA– Today, October 4, 2014, wanted fugitive Tyler Brett Love was arrested in Oceanside today during an AB 109 compliance sweep. Love was apprehended in the 4700 block of Calle Los Santos.
In response to the Prison Realignment Bill, also referred to as AB109, San Diego County Law Enforcement Agencies cooperate in regular details to contact offenders released under this program. These operations are conducted under the coalition formed by allied agencies, the Regional Realignment Response Group (R3G) and take place throughout San Diego County.
Today a total of 37 officers and Deputies from Oceanside, Carlsbad, Escondido, County Probation and the Sheriff’s Department contacted 40 offenders subject to AB109 in the City of Oceanside and Carlsbad.
10 individuals were arrested as a result of this operation, including Tyler Brett Love. Love was wanted by the San Diego Fugitive Task Force on charges of burglary, theft and buying or receiving a stolen vehicle. Love was featured on San Diego Crime Stoppers.
“This operation is another example of the results that are achieved through inter-agency cooperation and targeted operations such as those conducted by R3G.” said Oceanside Police Lieutenant, Sean Marchand in a statement released this afternoon.
