Vista CA– On Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at about 7:31pm deputies received a radio call of an attempted sexual assault at Eucalyptus Avenue and Alestar Street in the city of Vista.
It is alleged the adult male suspect forced the female teenage victim from a bus stop at the location to or near his apartment located nearby. The victim was able to fight off her attacker and run to a neighbor’s apartment.
Deputies arrived at the location and were able to identify the attacker as 28 year old Trevin Young.
Young was located in the boiler room of an apartment building where he was arrested for assault with the intent to commit rape. He was later booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
Detectives from the Sexual Assault Unit will continue to investigate the incident.
