Oceanside CA– Early Monday morning, October 20, 2014 at 01:20, officers of the Oceanside Police Department responded a report of a traffic collision at the Family Fellowship Church located 420 N. El Camino Real.
When officers arrived on scene, they observed a 2013 Lexus GS 350 had struck the southwest corner of the church building. Oceanside Police officers checked the area and found the registered owner of the vehicle walking to his home, which was nearby.
The registered owner was uncooperative with officers and would not tell them who was driving the vehicle. The incident at this time was deemed to be a misdemeanor hit and run collision and the 2013 Lexus GS 350 was towed pending further investigation. There were no witnesses to the collision.
