Oceanside CA— Temperatures are expected to remain very cold with freezing temperatures again tonight into Friday. The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a freeze warning which is in effect from 10pm this evening to 8 a.m., Friday.
A very cold and dry air mass and light winds will result in freezing conditions across the deserts and valleys again tonight. Frost is expected to be more localized in sheltered spots along the coast.
Tonight into Friday morning temperatures will drop to 25-32 with the coldest temperatures in low-lying valleys and wind sheltered areas.
This freeze can kill crops and other sensitive outdoor plants so bring pets indoors.
The outlook for Saturday, not as cold Saturday night but some frost is still likely in many areas.
