San Marcos CA—On February 20, 2015, Manfried Meschke called the Sheriff’s Department to report his wife as a missing person at risk. His wife is Thelma Margaret Meschke DOB: 11/29/1933. She is an 81 year old white female adult, 5′ 04″, 152 lbs, shoulder length grey hair and brown eyes. Her current address is 1318 Nordhal Road, Unincorporated Escondido 92026.
Thelma suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and has the early stages of dementia. She currently takes medication for high blood pressure, high cholesterol and Alzheimer’s. Her husband does not know what type of medication she is prescribed. Thelma had her license revoked approximately one year ago by the Department of Motor Vehicles due to her condition.
On February 20, 2015 Manfried had a dental appointment and left the house. He last saw his wife at approximately 08:45 am as he was leaving the residence. Thelma told him she wanted to have her nails done. When he returned at 10:00 am Thelma was gone. She left the residence with the family vehicle. Manfried has not seen or heard from her since he last saw her. Thelma does not own a cellular telephone nor does she have one currently with her.
Thelma has driven away from the residence in the past. She has usually returned on her own or she gets lost on her way to San Clemente to visit family. She has been found in shopping center parking lots when she has been lost.
