San Diego CA— The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department announced, earlier this morning, that an arrest has been made in the attempted abduction [Link] of a young girl from Skyline Elementary School in Solana Beach.
Jack Henry Doshay, (DOB 10/05/1992) who lives with his parents in Fairbanks Ranch, was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives at approximately 7:30 p.m., last night in the 25000 block of Adelanto Drive in Laguna Niguel.
Doshay’s location was provided by his attorney, Paul Pfingst, a high profile attorney and former San Diego County District Attorney.
“A great deal of media attention was given to this matter, the composite sketch and the car described as being driven by the subject, in particular. The information ultimately led to a call to the Sheriff’s Department with the key piece of information we needed.” said San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore during a press conference in San Diego.
An arrest warrant was issued charging Jack Henry Doshay with Cruelty to a Child, False Imprisonment with Violence, and Kidnapping. Doshay was transported to the Vista Jail.
The father of the young girl who was the subject of the attempted abduction, Mike Paeske read a brief statement at the press conference. “This guy messed with the wrong girl and the wrong community.” said Mr. Paeske. ” We are so proud of our daughter with the way she handled herself during the attack and subsequent investigation. She is our inspiration and our hero.”
Mike Paeske expressed appreciation for the outpouring of support by the community ” support from so many people that don’t even know our daughter.”
Doshay’s arraignment is set for 1:00 p.m., Friday afternoon in the San Diego County Court complex in Vista.
