Carlsbad CA— This morning, June 5th, at about 6:34 a.m., Carlsbad Police Officers responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at 3125 Canyon Street. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with two victims who advised that while they were seated in their vehicle, they were approached by two suspects who demanded the victims give them their money and wallets.
The suspects were described as 18-20 years old, white or Hispanic males, 5’– 5’6″ tall, medium build. One of the suspects struck one of the victims in the face with a handgun. The suspects fled the scene in a black four door sedan.
One of the victims was transported to Tri-City Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The identity of the suspects is unknown and the incident is still under investigation.
