Oceanside CA— The North County Transit District (NCTD) had added two additional COASTER trips to the regular schedule for Opening Day, Thursday July 16, 2015.
Race-goers can purchase tickets online or through the COASTER mobile app to avoid lines at the station. Promotional Pony Express tickets will not be accepted on Opening Day.
Double-decker buses (no fare required) will make continuous loops from the Solana Beach Station and the Del Mar Racetrack from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 30 minutes after the end of the final race.
Passengers are reminded that COASTER fare will not be valid on Amtrak trains via the Rail2Rail program Thursday through Sunday. Amtrak trains will require specific Amtrak fare during that time.

Additionally, transit enforcement would like to remind riders that alcohol consumption and the possession of open containers of alcohol are not permitted on board any NCTD train or bus. Violators are subject to citation and arrest.
