Oceanside CA— The North County Transit District (NCTD) suffered technical difficulties on Sunday when dispatchers experienced a brief technology outage.
The outage took place from approximately 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Trains were initially directed to stop and then allowed proceed at reduced speeds. Trips terminated at the nearest platform where affected passengers were bused to their destinations.
As of Sunday night, rail service was back to normal. No word on what caused the outage.
