Oceanside CA – On September 18th, 2015 Oceanside Police officers responded to a stabbing incident in the 3500 block of Sundown Lane. OPD Officers arrived on scene and contacted the victim, who was a security guard working in the residential community area. The victim essentially stated she contacted a white male adult who was hanging out in a private community park behind a maintenance shed.
The victim said after she contacted the suspect, a fight ensued and the suspect stabbed her with a knife. The suspect then fled the area.
OPD Officers searched the area utilizing a K-9 tracking dog and a San Diego County Sheriff’s Department helicopter, but were unable to locate the suspect.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment to her injury. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening and she is in stable condition.
