Vista CA— On Friday October 23, 2015, at about 7:55 PM, San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Vista Station responded to a report of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in front of Bobier Elementary School, 220 West Bobier Drive, Vista.
Deputies arrived and found the body of a 34-year-old woman who had succumbed to her injuries. The woman had been struck by a 1997 Ford Ranger truck pulling a trailer. The driver of the truck, a
54-year old man, stayed after the collision and cooperated with traffic investigators. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the collision and the investigation is continuing.
