Oceanside CA— Senator Patricia Bates (R-Laguna Niguel) will host a free Senior Scam Stopper seminar in Oceanside on October 15 in conjunction with U.S. Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA 49) and Assembly Member Rocky Chávez (R-Oceanside).
A panel of experts will provide information to seniors on how they can protect themselves from predatory scams. Attendees can get answers to their questions and obtain assistance if they have been scammed. Bates’ staff will also be available to assist seniors and their families with state-related casework.
The free seminar takes place on Thursday, October 15, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Veterans Association of North County, 1617 Mission Ave.
