Submit your Opinion via Agenda Item Position Slip

Oceanside CA— The Oceanside City Council welcomes input from the public on items listed on the City Council meeting agenda. Many citizens attend the Council meetings and speak on issues that are important to them. However, some are unable to attend or are uncomfortable speaking in front of an audience.
To provide everyone the opportunity to be heard, the Oceanside City Clerk’s office has provided the Agenda Item Position Slip. This new form is available on the City’s website: http://www.ci.oceanside.ca.us/gov/clerk/position.asp. Simply complete the form, stating your position on the item and include your comments, if any. You can then submit the form electronically.
The form will also be available in hard copy in the City Clerk’s Office at 300 North Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA 92054. You may submit the completed form to staff at that location. All Agenda Item Position Slips received by midnight, the day prior to the City Council meeting date will be provided to the Mayor and Council-members and will be part of the record.
This will provide an additional opportunity for you to voice your opinion on the items the City Council is considering. It is also a way to have one person designated to speak on behalf of a large group and still have the individual members of that group submit their position/comments.
