Oceanside CA— Early this morning, February 26^th, at approximately 3:40 AM, Oceanside Police officers responded to a call of a hit and run in the 500 block of Sunset Dr. in Oceanside. A witness discovered the victim, a 37-year-old male, lying in the roadway. He was conscious but had sustained a significant head injury. The victim was unable to provide any suspect information. The victim was treated on scene by paramedics and flown to Scripps La Jolla.

Oceanside Police traffic investigators responded to the scene and located debris from the suspect vehicle. Based on the debris, investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a black Audi A4 (year 2008-2015) with damage to the front and driver’s side.
