Carlsbad CA— The County of San Diego Registrar of Voters has informed the Carlsbad City Clerk that the next report on election results for Measure A will come Thursday before 5 p.m. No updates are planned for today.
This count will include approximately 4,100 mail ballots. The registrar is also in the process of reviewing about 3,000 “provisional” ballots, ballots that need additional verification before they can be counted. Those results are not expected until at least Friday, and possibly not until Monday, according to the registrar’s office.
As of 11:24 p.m. Tuesday, Measure A was trailing with 50.28 percent voting no (16,727 votes) and 49.72 percent voting yes (16,541 votes), difference of 186 votes.
