Oceanside CA— North County Transit District is encouraging SPRINTER passengers to plan ahead for two temporary station closures in the Oceanside area.
These closures are slated to last less than six hours each and are necessary to perform improvements to the pedestrian bridges that connect the stations to public access. The following stations will be closed:
- College Boulevard – Saturday, April 2, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- El Camino Real – Saturday, April 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
During these time periods, passengers will not have access to the platforms and the SPRINTER will not stop at these stations. Contingency bus service or BREEZE route 318 will be available for affected passengers.
In addition to the two closures, pedestrian bridge work will also take place at the Rancho Del Oro station on April 9, from noon until 5:00 p.m. Alternative access to the platform will be available, and service will continue as usual for this station.
