Oceanside CA— The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a severe thunderstorm warning, March 7, 2016, for Orange County in southwestern California, San Bernardino County in Southern California, Riverside County in southern California and northwestern San Diego County in southwestern California until 8:00 am
At 6:35 am pst, Doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts of 45 to 60 mph approaching the Orange County coast. The leading edge of the storms was located 5 miles southwest of Seal Beach and moving east at 35 mph.
Locations impacted include: Oceanside, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Riverside, Irvine, San Bernardino, Fontana, Moreno Valley, Huntington Beach and Garden Grove.

Severe thunderstorms produce damaging winds, destructive hail, deadly lightning and very heavy rain. For your protection, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of your home or business. Heavy rains flood roads quickly so do not drive into areas where water covers the road.
