San Marcos CA— On April 6, 2016 between 2:00pm and 3:00pm, a black male adult, attempted to grab a 13 year-old male jogger in the area of the trail head on Melrose Drive near San Elijo Road in the city of San Marcos.
Suspect Information:
BMA, heavyset, tall (possibly over 6’3″). With short dreadlocks (approximately three inches). The tips of the dreadlocks were dyed (hairstyle described as similar to Odell Beckham Jr.’s). The male did not have a mustache, beard or goatee, but he did have hair on the side of his face.
The male was wearing a white t-shirt, camo shorts, white ankle high socks and gray tennis shoes.
