Oceanside CA— Two males suffered gunshot wounds and a third was stabbed at approximately 9:30 Friday night June 17, 2016. Oceanside Police Officers responded to a radio call of multiple gunshots in the area of 400 Grant Street.
Officers arrived on scene and located two victims in an apartment complex parking lot who had sustained gunshots wounds and an additional victim with possible stab wounds. The victims were treated on scene by Oceanside Fire Department Paramedics and ultimately airlifted to local trauma centers.
At this point of the investigation the severity of the wounds is unknown. “This is still a very active crime scene and officers are currently searching for possible suspects and are looking for a possible fourth victim who may have suffered stab wounds.” said Oceanside Police Department Public Information Officer, Ryan Keim. He urged anyone with information in regard to the suspects or the possible fourth victim to call the Oceanside Police at 760-435-4900 or dial 9-1-1 if it’s an emergency.
Detectives from the Crimes of Violence unit are responding to assist in the investigation. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
