Vista CA— Shortly before 9:00pm on Friday August 19, 2016, deputies from the Sheriff’s Vista Station responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision at the 1700 block of East Vista Way.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered that an unidentified white male adult was jaywalking when he was struck by a 1996 Toyota Corolla. The male succumbed to his injuries.
Alcohol was not a factor on part of the driver.
The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Team responded to assist with the investigation.
