Oceanside CA— On Sunday, September 18, 2016, Gerardo Miranda, 33, of Cudahay, CA was struck and killed by a vehicle on northbound I-5.
At approximately 2:50pm , Miranda, who was a passenger in a vehicle with his family traveling northbound I-5 between Mission Ave and SR-76, suddenly exited the vehicle on foot and entered the path of oncoming vehicles. He was struck by a pickup truck.
9-1-1 was called and Miranda was transported, via ambulance, to Tri-City Medical Center Emergency Department where death was pronounced shortly after arrival.
