UPDATE: The San Diego County Medical Examiners Office has identified the victim as active duty Marine, Najee Allen Williams, 22 years-old of Wildomar CA.
Oceanside CA— This afternoon, September 18, 2016 at approximately 4:15pm, the Oceanside Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Vista Way for a report of a traffic collision.

Upon arrival, officers observed an adult male in the roadway with significant injuries. The individual’s damaged motorcycle was also nearby.
Preliminary investigation is revealing that the motorcycle was traveling east in the 2700 block of Vista Way and collided with a westbound vehicle that turned left in front of him.
The injured motorcycle rider was transported to the Tri City Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
