Carlsbad CA— The Carlsbad Village Association, in collaboration with the Village Faire Shops, hosted its Annual Pets on Parade Sunday, December 11, 2016 in downtown Carlsbad and raised $1,545 for Carlsbad-based non-profit Wagging Dog Rescue.
The event offered up a day of four-legged fun including professional pet photos with Santa, vendors, raffle prizes, a silent auction, as well as a group photo in front of the Christmas tree followed by a Santa-led parade through the Village. Proceeds from the raffle, silent auction, and photos with Santa all benefit a local pet rescue organization.
“Bringing together Santa, pet vendors, and hundreds of dog enthusiasts, is always a special time,” said Christine Davis, Program Manager for the Carlsbad Village Association. “We are grateful to all who came out in support of this great charity event to raise money to help Wagging Dog Rescue with foster care, medical bills, food and supplies for their dogs as they wait for forever homes.”
