Fallbrook CA— Fallbrook deputies responded to the Shell Gas Station, located, 1205 S. Main Avenue, after the clerk reported a masked male suspect robbed him of cash and some merchandise at gunpoint. Deputies arrived within one minute of the call being dispatched.
The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot southbound on S. Mission Road. About two blocks from the robbery scene, a deputy observed a possible suspect walking southbound away from the location. The suspect, a 16-year-old male juvenile, was detained and he was positively identified as the robbery suspect.
A semi-automatic handgun, stolen cash, and stolen merchandise were all recovered from the suspect. The suspect was booked into Juvenile Hall on the robbery.
