San Diego County CA— Today, May 24, 2017, the 10 Chick-fil-A restaurants in San Diego County, including the restaurants at 194 North El Camino Real in Encinitas, 587 Grand Ave. in San Marcos, 1290 Auto Park Way in Escondido and Quarry Creek, 3475 Marron Road in Oceanside, are expecting to give away about 10,000 Chick-fil-A entrées as part of their annual Military Appreciation Night.
Between 4 and 7 p.m., any active duty member of the military or retired veteran with a military ID or proof of service, along with their immediate family members, will receive their choice of a free entrée. Choices include the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Sandwich, eight-count Nuggets or three-count Chick-n-Strips. Offer valid for dine-in customers only. The event will include family-friendly activities and entertainment for guests at each Chick-fil-A restaurant.

This is Chick-fil-A’s 10th annual Military Appreciation Night in San Diego. The event began in San Diego in 2008, when there were four Chick-fil-A restaurants in San Diego County. In 2016, Chick-fil-A gave away nearly 8,000 free entrees to military families for Military Appreciation Night. Chick-fil-A’s Military Appreciation Night is held annually in celebration of Military Appreciation Month.
