Oceanside CA—Two arrests have been made in the Homicide Investigation of a teenager that occurred on October, 21, 2017 [Link]. The victim, identified as 17-year-old Alan Sandoval, was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His two companions were also assaulted however suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators determined Sandoval was with two friends when the assault took place. Two suspects approached the group and after a verbal confrontation, the victims were stabbed multiple times. The suspects then fled on foot.
Investigators were able to identify the two suspects who were identified as the following:
- Cesar Robles, HMA, 21, Oceanside resident and
- Coryell Taylor, BMA, 37, Oceanside resident.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and booked for Homicide.
The Oceanside Police Department Investigations Division is continuing to investigate this case.
