Oceanside CA— MiraCosta Community College District (MCCCD) has qualified the first pool of Professional Service Consultants for the Measure MM Bond Program Pool. Nearly 70 firms were approved to compete for Measure MM Bond contracts through a competitive Request for Qualifications process.
Over the course of the last several months the MiraCosta College District along with Measure MM Bond Program Manager, Kitchell, has been working on creating groups of qualified professional service consultants associated with the implementation of Measure MM. Qualified professional service consultant groups have been established as follows: Architectural and Engineering Services, Geotechnical Engineering Services and Civil Engineering Services.
Each of the qualified professional services went through a review committee consisting of District personnel along with the Program Management office. The Board of Trustees provided final approval. These qualified groups will now be utilized to identify and select individual firms to perform associated services with the initial projects at each of the District’s three sites.
