Mayor Wood to be Honored at ‘Meet the City’ Event

Oceanside CA— On Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the annual ‘Meet the City’ Event, the Oceanside Chamber, along with MainStreet Oceanside and Visit Oceanside, will honor Mayor Jim Wood on behalf of the business community.
Mayor Wood served our community with passion and commitment, first through his many years at the Oceanside Police Department and then in his role of governing our City. We are grateful for Mayor Wood’s service and his love for our community and we wish him all the best as he focuses on health and family.
Mayor Wood retired as of January 1st after serving as Oceanside’s Mayor since 2004. ‘Meet the City’ provides an annual opportunity for the business community to meet with City Councilmembers, City department heads and other community leaders.
The event takes place at El Camino Country Club, 3202 Vista Way, Oceanside on January 25, 2018 5-7:00pm. The cost is $50 per person for Chamber members and $95 for non-members includes appetizers and a no-host bar and is open to members of the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce. Event sponsorship is $500 and includes 4 tickets.
This event is presented by Tri-City Medical Center and is sponsored by Cox Communications, San Diego Gas & Electric, AT&T, Integral Communities, Waste Management, Shopoff Realty Investments, Federal Heath Sign, LLC, and Pacific Marine Credit Union.
