Oceanside CA— Community organizers and organizations got together to keep the Dia de los Muertos Festival in Oceanside. Spearheaded by many and headed by Friends of Oceanside Dia de los Muertos and , Dave Mears of Legendary Event Management and Chema and Manuel Navarro of Por Siempre Car Club, the festival will continue this tradition in Oceanside at the Old Mission San Luis Rey again for its 18th celebratory year.
Over 100 volunteers assist each year with parking, bread and flower sales, altar building, chalk cemetery and so much more but volunteers are still needed for the event.
